Arlin, I was not the buyer. I was checking since it would have made a great starter lathe for the niece in Clearwater.

Yes! 
When you are a doting uncle/godfather and trying to get the kids firmly captured in the vortex, then one looks for the best lathe to get them hooked.

I thought it was. Once you really get hooked into the vortex, you upgrade to a Robust.
