Hinge position in cabinets - jussi - 11-12-2016 Is there a standard position for hinges in kitchen type cabinets? With the caveat: depending on the height of the door. i.e.: a door over the fridge that is only 12" high would have hinges much closer to the top & bottom - but again - no specific distance. i researched it when I was redoing my kitchen and there is no stock answer.
