I note that it's about 1/4 the price of a new Lie-Nielsen.  Condition matters, though; make sure the fence isn't wobbly.

If functional condition is good and the irons have plenty of life, $30 is what I would offer for that particular plane.  The collector ones which are all nice and shiny I would offer more.

That one is japanned and has the floral motif on the handle so it is one of the early models and far less common than the nickel plated versions. I'd grab it.

The early japanned versions are the collectibles. Close to $60, and I've seen them go for $100.
