Rikon 14" open stand bandsaw 1.5HP - gad5264 - 12-06-2016
I have been thinking of adding a bandsaw to my tool collection. I have admired the Rikons at Woodcraft on my visits and then this flyer shows up in the mail yesterday with the one I looked at on sale for $699
Does anyone here have this saw and if so what are your opinions, pros and cons?

The biggest problem with that saw is the guides they are quite a PITA to work with, other than that it is a solid saw for the price. Rikon has upgraded their guides on their newest saws this year (they finally recognized the issue), the new 10-326 has the new guides but is not on sale at WC where it is $999.
The best non-sale prices on Rikon bandsaws that I am aware of is Circle Saw in Houston, the 10-326 is $866.25 and you can save any shipping charges by picking it up at the freight depot if you have a truck or trailer.

I have been using this saw for 4 years, no issues at all.
It is good saw reasonably priced.
