Pain poly BLO danish oil froze? - Jack in omaha - 12-14-2016
I was in my shed and I noticed the supply of paint BLO turpentine and spray paint cans. What is the net effect if this is frozen or subjected to below freezing temps? The BLO is still liquid and so are the solvents. I alos have water based poly.

Pretty much nothing. Now the waterborne finishes don't do so well after being frozen (you get to toss those), but the oil based ones survive to be used.

I tried to drive to Omaha yesterday to visit my daughter. I 29 was closed. Had to turn around.
