Unusual Porter Cable Table saw blade - Jack01 - 02-20-2017
I had this unusual Porter Cable Table saw blade for years , I just came across this when I was going through my saw blades.
This looks like PORTER-CABLE 100VT50 Razor 10-Inch 50 Tooth ATB Finishing Saw Blade
I have not used this blade for years, this needs sharpening, unfortunately I could not find who was interested in sharpening this due to various different space between the teeth.
When I used , the cuts were smooth.

I found following picture on Amazon and looks like it is out of production for couple of years.

I've used it for years on my Makita slider. Good clean cuts, seems to stay sharp for a long time. Local shop sharpens it when needed, no issue.

Table saw for me .... otherwise the same . Had it sharpened at least once . My name is carved in it . Cuts real good.

These blade are going to be collectors items.
Couple of days ago I called Porter Cable and I was informed that they stop producing them.
Nice concept , unfortunately the market did not accept them.
I have Freud combination blade and this blade definitely outperform it.
