I have 2 Stanley #5's. One is a #5c the other is just a #5. The #5c has three patent dates on it, some previous owner drilled a hang hole (which does NOT affect functionality), japanning is about 90%, needs cleaned and sharpened. The picture shows an after market blade but I have since put the original blade back in it. The #5 has no patent dates on it, original blade, japanning about 90%, needs cleaning and sharpened. Knob and tote on both are in great shape with no cracks, 1 small chip on the horn of the #5 tote. Buy the pair for $65.00 shipped CONUS, or your choice of one for $35.00 shipped CONUS.
