PSA Wetterlings Axes - Martin S. - 03-24-2017

OK, so I watch the LN site about once a week, hoping for the plow plane to show up.  So far, nothing going on there.

I look at "What's New" and "Tom's Toolbox"...

Today I see a note that Wetterlings Axes has gone out of business.

I have seen these in a knife store in Ft. Worth once before, and was impressed.

So I placed an order.

So, if you have thought you might want some of these in the past, now is the time to order before they are gone.

My future grandkids will thank me someday.  I just hope they don't sell them at a garage sale.
Uhoh

It's not so clear cut - check this out: http://www.wetterlings.com/information-about-wetterlings/
It looks like they are just going to consolidate with Gränsfors Bruk.
Cheers,

I'm kinda doubting that since they have merged with Gransfors Bruk their axes are going to go on sale.  It's just the name that disappears.  You won't be able to know if a product is sold out at LN until after you order it.  While their software has the capability to display whether an item is in stock, they choose not to use that feature.  I think that's their way of getting folks to order LN vs. finding out if a product is in stock and going elsewhere if it's not.  LN doesn't seem to maintain stock on a lot of their less popular items.
