The two 2x4 challenge - Cecil - 05-08-2017 In a recent thread, Chris Salomone's podcast was mentioned. He is running a two, 2x4 challenge. I know this forum has had a single 2x4x8 challenge and I thought some here might like to participate Chris's challenge. Like Cris says, one can build a lot with $6 worth of materials using $6,000 worth of tools. YouTube video of the challenge and what Chris did is here. RE: The two 2x4 challenge - Steve N - 05-08-2017 I'd enter, but I'm pretty sure my garden stakes would win, and all of the guys making complex furniture would feel bad ![]() RE: The two 2x4 challenge - daddo - 05-08-2017 Been doing this for many years. The better choice is 12' or 14' long 2x6. Fewer knots and better grain. |
