Where can I find a clamp like this? - frule - 05-24-2017 [attachment=2378][attachment=2377] I have no idea what this clamp is called or where to buy them. It is on the leg of a photographer's tripod. The leg is about 1 1/2" in diameter and would require good clamping strength. It's one of 2 clamps on the leg and they hold an aluminum clip board so that the photographer has a writing platform. Anyone know what it's called? Thanks! RE: Where can I find a clamp like this? - blackhat - 05-24-2017 Looks like a clip for hanging a broom/mop/shovel on the wall. RE: Where can I find a clamp like this? - Herb G - 05-24-2017 I've always heard it called a capture clamp. It is made for holding mops to a wall rack. RE: Where can I find a clamp like this? - Robert Adams - 05-24-2017 Yup an old style mop clamp. Ace hardware home depot lowes etc. Been around a long time and havent changed much. RE: Where can I find a clamp like this? - Charlie - 05-24-2017 Spring loaded broom clamp. sciplus.com RE: Where can I find a clamp like this? - frule - 05-24-2017 Thanks, folks! RE: Where can I find a clamp like this? - Lynden - 05-24-2017 If you can't find them locally, they're available from a few different sellers on eBay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Metal-Spring-Grip-Clamps-Clips-for-Garage-Closet-Wall-Organizer-Tool-Rack-/191973938535 RE: Where can I find a clamp like this? - Cooler - 05-26-2017 There are some nicer ones for fishing poles. I think they are generally made from rubber and do not mar the finish. https://www.google.com/search?q=fishing+rod+holders&rlz=1C1RXDB_enUS585US585&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwi-nf_u243UAhUBsxQKHaHuDVQQ_AUICygC&biw=1366&bih=662#tbm=isch&q=fishing+rod+holders&chips=q:fishing%20rod%20holders,g_1:rubber ![]() |
