Need back porch furniture plans - Papa Jim - 06-11-2017 Specifically, a love seat, couple of chairs (maybe a rocker), and a coffee table. Wood of course. Papa Jim RE: Need back porch furniture plans - Steve N - 06-11-2017 In this day and age I'm hesitant to link a plan for something like patio furniture. That guy who steals everyones copyrighted property uses so many names and links I'd be scared what I was linking wasn't something the real owner wanted links of out there, at least for free. RE: Need back porch furniture plans - cme4dk - 06-11-2017 I just made adirondack chairs using the woodsmith plans. RE: Need back porch furniture plans - goaliedad - 06-11-2017 NYW has an Adirondack loveseat that is very nice RE: Need back porch furniture plans - daddo - 06-11-2017 I've made several Adirondack chairs and I am now making a custom one for the BIL. I'm redesigning the legs and the wood connections to flow together. This one will take a long time, but you can make two at a time the regular way in two days easy. Look for plans- I have my measurements written down the way I like them and use my patterns to start them off. I've found the most comfortable seat height is 14"-15" at the front, seat width 22", seat length 18.5- 20", between arm rests width 18-19", and seat to arm at 8.5". I make the back adjustable. I do natural and dyed/stained and antiqued all with clear coats. There's one still sitting in the weather in the yard for a endurance test. This is the one I quickly made for the yard to see if it lasts. So far very good. This pic shows the adjustable metal plate I made for experimenting- it too is working well. I think going to one of the known magazines, or with Narm would do well, and you would be be paying the right guy, if there were a fee. Another thought is to look at the local library, mine has a lot of books on DIY projects, many are geared toward things like outdoor furniture. RE: Need back porch furniture plans - Guest - 06-12-2017 Maybe Michael Fortune's Garden Chair? Plans are available for it. The classic Adirondack chair can be converted to a love seat. Do you have a furniture style in mind? It is a nice chair design, sort of makes you think of a Cialis commercial, without water. http://wwwcdn.popularwoodworking.com/wp-content/uploads/Adirondack_5F00_lead1.jpg[/img] http://www.popularwoodworking.com/projects/aw-extra-122613-adirondack-loveseat See if that didn't make a pic.
