Wheeled base for 10-326 - Zhent - 07-05-2017

I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions on a mobile base for the Rikon 10-326. I've looked at the Rikon version but I'm not thrilled with the tow bar piece that would have to hang out in the shop somewhere until i wanted to move the band saw around. According to the website the base is 17 5/8 x 24. Does anyone have a recommendation for a mobile base? I think the Portamate bases start a little too large for the base, but Shop Fox and HTC both sell bases that could fit?

I have a 10-325. I built a wooden base lower than the factory one so the table is about the same height as other machines, around 34.5" - 35". I used 2 X 4s with 1/2" plywood panels glued into rabbets. Two wheels from Harbor Freight in the back and a lifting caster similar to this on the front.

The rear wheels do not caster, they're on a metal axle that runs through the back of the cabinet. I have a door on one side so can use the wooden base for storage like the factory metal base. I had two reasons to build my own base. I wanted lower and I wanted mobile. I got both.

Harbor Freight mobile base. Use steel tubing instead of wood.
