Looking for a Jacobs chuck - badwhiskey - 07-06-2017 I have a MT2 Jacobs chuck but when I put it in the headstock it creeps out. Is there one that accepts a threaded drawbar? Thanks RE: Looking for a Jacobs chuck - Joe K1 - 07-06-2017 littlemachineshop.com has several threaded arbors for drill chucks. Example http://www.littlemachineshop.com/products/product_view.php?ProductID=1883&category= RE: Looking for a Jacobs chuck - crokett™ - 07-06-2017 I made my own. I drilled and tapped the end of my chuck and just use a piece of 3/16" threaded rod with a wing nut and a couple large washers run through the headstock as a drawbar. RE: Looking for a Jacobs chuck - clovishound - 07-06-2017 A soft rap with a wooden mallet keeps mine in place. RE: Looking for a Jacobs chuck - Arlin Eastman - 07-06-2017 Use locktight on it. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() RE: Looking for a Jacobs chuck - Herb G - 07-06-2017 PSI sells one.
