The Vintage Workshop - Big Dave - 07-10-2017

Just sharing this for a buddy to get a little more exposure to his YouTube channel.

Some of you guys may know Jeff from the Old Woodworking Machines forums, but may not know that he is now making videos. This is a guy who knows how to do just about everything, and does it. He's really just getting started, but has several videos already posted. He'll be covering handtools, vintage woodworking machine reconditioning, and general woodworking. They're pretty well made for a one-man operation, and he's just so darn likable...
Yes Just go to The Vintage Workshop  and see what you think. He also responds to most  - if not all - comments.

Jeff & I met at MontanaFest 12 years ago and have kept in touch ever since. He & his wife will also be coming to the Gathering at my place in a couple weeks so you'll have a chance to meet him, too...

I stumbled into him a while back. I was following the link for his Frame and Panel Cabinet parts 1 and 2. I have a similar ugly electrical supply cabinet too, and thought it might be cool to make a cover. He did a good job. If I was to have a complaint his audio is here and there, seems to fade to nothing, then he is yelling at you, so it's hard to watch his video after LOML goes to sleep. I know nothing about video recording, so I don't know if that is a hard thing to manage?

I'm not a video/recording, either, but I haven't noticed too many issues with his later shows. Or maybe I've just gotten used to it...
