Plow plane, scrub, Stanley #4, Center bits - Tom Wiarda - 08-18-2017 First item is a Sandusky Tool Co. screw arm plow plane in good condition. The tote is shaped for a right-handed grip. There is some chipping on the threads but the wooden nuts and washers turn freely on both arms. The nuts and washers are not split or cracked. The depth guide adjusts freely. It comes with a ⅜" iron with the Sandusky mark. Price is $30 plus shipping i image b i  Nest is a German horned scrub plane in good user condition.The body is stamped Germany and 32mm, 1¼" which is the width of the iron. The iron is tapered in thickness and is stamped Vom Cleff & Co. New York, cast steel. Price is $15 plus shipping i i Finally s Stanley #4, Type 10 in good condition. The rosewood tote and knob are in very good condition with no cracks and only minor signs of use. Price is $30 plus shipping Also, a set of 6 center bits marked Hilger & Sons, Germany. The sizes range from ⅞" to 2". The center points are sharp. Some bits have some chipping on the cutting lip. Cost for the set is $5 plus shipping. The low front knobs are very comfortable--I prefer them to the higher knobs on later planes. Nice solid frog, too. Just flatten the sole and that plane will be ready to go. Also a good deal on an old wooden scrub plane. They work as well as the metal scrubs that cost a lot more.
