Woodnet advertisers - Ohio Mike - 08-29-2017

Something seems to have changed with Woodnet advertising.  When browsing a forum, sometimes my screen jumps unexpectedly to the last post in the forum underneath which an ad begins to play.  The ad often hijacks my speakers and begins to play audio to accompany the ad.

Dayum!
Upset  It just did it again while I was typing this post!  I hate that.

I had the same problem -

but nobody else seemed to know what I was talking about.  It went away the next day so I quit worrying about it.  Hope it doesn't show up more often.

Wow, you reported the problem 3 weeks ago!

Today it's the ARBY'S ad that is hijacking both screen and audio.  Other ads that are showing today seem OK.

I'm using the latest CHROME browser on a MAC computer.

Sorry about that - it was a 3rd party ad. However, we have decided, for the moment, to replace those 3rd party ads with internal ads to our own sites that are created by us, so you shouldn't encounter this problem anymore.

Thank you for the quick response.
