looking for multiple extenstion slides - Cecil - 12-28-2017 Anyone know where I can find the hardware for this table? I am not sure if I will build one, but it is a great solution that can be built to look nice. RE: looking for multiple extenstion slides - Cooler - 12-29-2017 They look like drawer slides. I guess you could attach two drawer slides together end to end and get a lot of length. But these are very, very expensive. http://www.rockler.com/accuride-heavy-duty-full-extension-slides-series-9301-select-length Two sets of 36" slides will cost about $600.00. These are 500 pound rated so maybe a lighter rating would work. The hundred pound rated ones go to 28" and are much cheaper. About $55.00 for two sets. http://www.rockler.com/accuride-full-extension-zinc-box-drawer-slides-series-3832-zinc-full-extension-slides RE: looking for multiple extenstion slides - Cecil - 12-29-2017 Thanks. I found them, I think. The picture shows 3 part slides for both the 38" and 64" openings. This would mean the latter one would be longer to achieve the longer opening. However reading the Q&A, it states both are 36" closed. I will investigate this further. I did not read the Q&A prior to posting http://www.rockler.com/extension-slides-36-length RE: looking for multiple extenstion slides - Cecil - 12-29-2017 I found them, but they are not cheap. 5 sections. 36" closed, 64" opening. Only $630. I think these are still US made, but I am not sure. https://absupply.net/watertownws3664-metal-table-slide-hardware-heavy-duty-type-64.aspx However, now that I know what to search for, I am finding other sources also. I searched Amazon for "watertown slides" and found a couple of options there too. My guess is they are Chinese, based on the price difference. |
