Honey Do - castguy2003 - 12-30-2017

Wife found an  old shoe shine box. My job, "fix it up"
I now have it totally unglued and taken apart.
Now to fully sand it and clean the glue from the box joints.
This should be "fun"

Careful- if you do too good of a job she will keep bringing you treasures to restore.
on the other hand, if you really do a bad job, she will no longer support your tool and supply habit.

Chose wisely...

Just do a good job, to your standards. Some of my repairs wind up a different color, with different joinery, and no trace of the original materials.

I have begun the regluing. Cleaned the box joints with a small square file. Worked pretty well.

Gorilla glue has a clear non-foaming glue out now.

Used it on a chair re-do, no need to have perfectly clean joints.

Makes it easier.....
