RE: Daily Bench Shot - Gary G™ - 02-11-2019 Thanks Red. Stwood said “Yes. Yours is small.” I saw what you did there. These are my recent infills. [attachment=16435] [attachment=16436] O1 steel sole, 360 brass sides, lignum vitae infill. The two adjusters are from St. James Bay Tool Co. RE: Daily Bench Shot - Stwood_ - 02-12-2019 Lookin pretty good Pete RE: Daily Bench Shot - Redman - 02-12-2019 (02-11-2019, 09:44 PM)Peter Tremblay Wrote: I thought I would finally contribute to the thread. Nice work Peter. RE: Daily Bench Shot - Gary G™ - 02-12-2019 Good looking work Peter. RE: Daily Bench Shot - Peter Tremblay - 02-12-2019 Thanks, fellas. Pics will come when they are finished... eventually. This is a much slower project that I had ever imagined. The detail work is far beyond anything that I've done before. And fixing my mistakes is proving very time consuming. Add to that the fact that lignum vitae is awful to work with and this is proving to be a very time consuming project. I've dulled three router bits already RE: Daily Bench Shot - Belle City Woodworking - 02-13-2019 In the home stretch on this build: Now I just have to figure out a mounting solution. I am leaning towards figure 8's unless someone has a better suggestion.... RE: Daily Bench Shot - EdL - 02-13-2019 I've always had good results with the figure 8's, would be my first choice. Looking good! Ed RE: Daily Bench Shot - Stwood_ - 02-13-2019 Lookin good John. Another...how about 4 hangar bolts, down through the ends of the top supports. Slot the supports about a 1/2-3/4 wide. Set the hangar bolt nuts down into the supports so a leg won't catch em. |
