Miller Falls No. 75 block plane - overland - 01-24-2018

Standard angle Miller Falls No. 75 block plane in good usable condition. The plane has been fettled and is ready to go: the blade is sharpened and honed with a micro bevel. The back of the blade has been flattened. The sole, too, has been flattened. OverallĀ  the plane is clean and mostly rust free. The only flaw is a small crack in the wooden knob, but the crack doesn't go all the way through and the knob is solid. That's why I didn't bother to do anything about it. (See photo.) The knob has a shellac finish.
This is a larger block plane: 7 inches long by 2 inches wide. The iron is 1 5/8" wide. I honed the micro-bevel at 65 degrees to use with difficult grains, although it could easily be changed if you wanted something different. $20 plus shipping.
