Tilting drafting table parts - Kansas City Fireslayer - 01-29-2018 I’m trying to help a friend find a kit or hardware for building an industrial style drafting table. The table top itself will tilt on the semi circular guides. Does anyone know a source for these parts? Just take a white oak 1x2 and route a 1/4" hole thru the center about 14" long and put a 1/4" bolt with know and you can lower or raise it from there. I built mine like that when I taken drafting in school in the early 80's. Also make sure you can a smooth firm rubber mat to put on the top so it makes it easier to tape the paper and allows easier marking to. |
