One of the HF gems without a doubt. I have two and they have never
given me a problem in the ten plus years they have been in service.

I've had my HF reel for 10+ years also. It lives in my garage and does its job quite well. The much lighter hose and more flexible hose makes it a better fit for my shop. The extra $25 over the HF reel certainly didn't break the bank.

It wasn't a gem for me. Never retracted reliably, never locked in place either. I threw it out a few months ago.

I have been wanting that one for a few years. Right now can not afford it and hope they do it in the next year or so.

The red rubber hose on mine has cracked and leaked - twice. What hose are you guys using? If it's the factory one is it red or black? Thanks.
