It would be nice to know HOW that ONE person fell. Knowing some people and how they operate and take care of their ladders.

More than likely, given the speed of the recall, is that Werner did a failure analysis on the sole incident and determined it was a very clear case of a catastrophic design/manufacturing defect. From a corporate products liability standpoint, its better to get ahead of the curve and do the recall before someone gets killed and the SHTF. Looks like they only sold them for a month.
