vinyl extrusions - Cooler - 07-03-2018
I bought some vinyl corner extrusions to trim out some soffit. It worked fine. I went back to Home Depot for some more and the profile was a little smaller but I judged it would work fine too.
But when I cut the pieces it turned out that it was MDF sheathed with vinyl. MDF does not do well with moisture. I now have to go out and find some real extruded vinyl trim.
A cautionary note when buying vinyl trim: Examine the cut ends and make sure it is solid plastic.
