Finishing drawer sides - Troywoodyard - 09-07-2018

Would something like tried and true original help traditional drawers (runners/kickers) slide easier, or make them stick? I have used furniture wax in the past with good success, but the beeswax blend smells and bit better for a bedside table. Thoughts?

Paraffin. It is odorless, hard, works well, renewable, and inexpensive. Also called Gulf Wax, in the food canning area of your supermarket.

I used Butchers' wax.  It seemed to work well.
