Spoke shave identification help needed - ahartung - 11-04-2018 I know this is a common one, but I can't find a guide to identifying spokeshaves anywhere, or if I do, all the photos are dead links. I'd appreciate any and all info on it. I think it is a 51 or 52, seems to have an early logo on the blade. No other marks I could find. The 51 and 151 have gull's wing handles; the 52 and (uncommon) 152 have straight handles. In my opinion, this is one of the best Stanley spokeshaves, so you did well. RE: Spoke shave identification help needed - ahartung - 11-04-2018 Thank you very much! I'm probably going to keep this one to use with my wooden ship modeling. |
