Epoxy coated trays - K. L. McReynolds - 12-20-2018

I tried a two part clear epoxy on a tray(the one with initials):

Worked well, so did a couple others, tinting the epoxy and using it as designs, then coating with the clear:

I learned two things. One, the epoxy seems viscous, but finds any seam and oozes through. And, you need to use a new container for mixing each time. Even when the previous batch has hardened, there are still stuff in the container.

Other than the amount of mixing/stir time required(12 minutes a batch), it works as advertised. Used water based Transtint powder dye to color, that mixed completely in the last 6 minute stir period.
