A gouge sharpening question - SceneryMaker - 01-01-2019 Can a Wolverine system work with a Tormek to sharpen a bowl gouge or is the Tormek SVD-186 the proper jig for this? I had a shop visitor today who is taking the first step into the Vortex and loved my Wolverine but has a Tormek for his flat tools. RE: A gouge sharpening question - Wildwood - 01-02-2019 I doubt it! Can use Tormek SVD-186 & BCM-100 Bench Grinder Set on dry grinder. If already have dry bench grinder may be cheaper to buy Basic Wolverine system plus optional Vari-grind jig don’t know. https://www.tormek.com/international/en/grinding-jigs/svd-186-gouge-jig-svd-185/ https://www.tormek.com/international/en/accessories/other-accessories/bgm-100-bench-grinder-mounting-set/ |
