Pics bowls discussed in a previous thread. - humanrace - 02-05-2019

My second bowl.  Turned about 10 years ago, just before my third bowl ejected from the lathe.

My first bowl after taking my lathe out of retirement.  Well, I still turned spindles while the lathe was in bowl retirement.

First successful natural edge bowl.  About 10" in Dia.  Multiple coats of laquer.  Oak tree limb crotch.

Well for one you made some nice bowls and boxes.  Now on the dust pile; glad you did not have a DC to empty.

Very nice!

The 60 grit and 80 grit gouges are my most dependable tools.
