Solvent to remove wax, base coats=shellac - Tony (Charleston WV) - 02-19-2019

What's the proper solvent for removing wax that was applied over shellac which was sprayed on?

TIA

There is a product called Lundmark Paste-Wax Romover. Says it is for removing all wax, liquid or paste, from wood.

Mineral spirits or Naptha will remove the wax w/o hurting the shellac.  Wipe several times with a fresh cloth to get it all off.
