It is 1-3/4 inches wide by 19 inches long. Quit production in 1874, Handle is not original. The other turning gouge is a L.& I.J. White. It is 1-1/8 inches wide by 17 inches long. The mark is from Monroe, MI or Buffalo, N.Y. from about 1844. Information gathered from E.A.I.A Directory of American Toolmakers. These gouges can be collectable or user pieces.
