So both Ni-cad batteries from by B&D string trimmer are junk. Hardware store wants $44.00 for one battery. Then I see Menards has 18V cordless drills on sale for $25.00 each. I buy 2, with rebate it's $40.00. Take one old N-cad battery and one drill, some sawing, soldering and epoxy later and I have an adapter to use the new Lithium-ion batteries on the trimmer and I still have one working drill plus two chargers. Woo-Hoo
