Just get a can of spray grease and give it a squirt when it squeaks takes a few seconds. Roly

Grease and oil will soon be covered in pollens and dirt and can cause added wear. Spraying silicone lubricant might be better solution but will require more frequency of applications but would be my choice.

Would Never-Seez be good for this application? Not sure how it holds up in the weather...

The big problem with never seize is the staining of most of the never seize products. If the kids get it on their hands it will be everywhere and mom will not be happy. It may never come out of clothes and takes a lot to clean your hands. Roly
