Chaplin 1211 (#8 Sized Jointer Plane - cputnam - 11-22-2019 This plane is a little dusty and has some cosmetic apologies that in no way affect function.  That said, there are not many full-sized try planes available for this price.  The plane will come with the original iron for the sake of original appearance only since it is now too short to be useful and has been honed past its temper.  The other two irons are modern O1 and each has several lifetimes of honing left in them.  Except for the apologies, this plane would have much more collector value.  However, it has been a user all its life and will most likely stay that way. Apologies are that the rubber tote is starting to fray at the top and there is plating loss on the cap iron although I was unable to find where after a cursory inspection. Walt Q set this price before his death.  The market may have changed but I'll start there.
