Irwin auger bit set - SteveF - 12-12-2019

Nice Irwin set with 2 expansion bits. They're all sharp with excellent spurs and lead screws. The wrap is heavy canvas.

$75 plus shipping

Steve, I can really use another set while I'm building the new shop (and things are still in boxes that I wish I could find).

I'll take these.

Wow, what a deal! I have a nearly identical set. My FIL served with the Hump Pilots in Berma, China during WWII. That was Army issued kit to the soldiers working on the communications lines in the Pacific theater. My FIL gave his set to me (he’s now deceased and interred at Arlington) and even if it had no family connection, I wouldn’t sell it at twice the selling price. Nice score!

My great uncle was a SEABEE during WWII, the roll was instantly familiar.

Thanks Steve! The new shop is post and beam, so these (along with a 14" brace) will come in handy.
