Rescuing a transitional plane - Gentleman Jim - 12-12-2019

This 15" jack was in poor shape. Worn unevenly, no longer flat and with a mouth you could fit a Baby Ruth through. Added a persimmon sole to bring the plane back into square, love the black spots. Chiseled out the mouth for a tight fit. Works a treat.

That's great!   The persimmon is pretty hard wood; nice choice
