Sanding solution - justdraftn - 12-28-2019 I needed drum sanding bigger than 4 1/2 on my spindle sander. So, I bought 2 sets of spindle drums.  Cut one set in half. The same w/sanding sleeves.  I tried using all thread for the posts.  One worked "ok" but had some wobble to it.  The other pieces were unusable.  So, I got 1/2" carriage bolts. Ground off the square corners off so the washer would seat flat.    They work great.
