Jeeze, Steve. Why didn't you get more vitamins instead?

I hope both the Guinness and the hammer followed you home!

which we all intuitively know are absolutely essential for making a serviceable mallet!

1/2 of the Guinness is now gone....

Since Paul Sellers seems to like that style of hammer, thought i would at least try one.

RE: Trip to Wall E World - Admiral - 02-20-2020

I've turned a few myself; I was thinking of a jointers mallet! :-)

RE: Trip to Wall E World - bandit571 - 02-21-2020

Was getting a bit too flaky...balance was off...

The rawhide one was...ok...tended to bounce back too much....

I have actually used a hammer similar to Bandit's for decades-hard plastic face and soft rubber face. Craftsman brand and now available at Lowes. Worked very well. Lesser used is a "Wood is Good" brand round mallet.
