FS: Stanley #45 Combination Plane - Complete IOB - JPRI - 02-22-2020 This is a Type 7B (1896-1906) and is in great shape. Doesn't have a camrest, but those weren't available until 1902, so depending on if this is an early or late Type 7B, it may or may not have come with it. No S or B foundry marks. Has 18 cutters in box, an extra spur, and slitter. Type 5 (1893-94) cutters had a 3/32" dia hole instead of a notch. These cutters are a mixture of holes and notches, but you can see by the oxidation line that they have always been together. Stanley was known to use up old parts. Has both long and short rods, all depths including the long one, and screwdriver. Slitter and tongue cutters, and skate have the patent dates. Top of tote has some rough spots, cast handle has an initial W, and round knob has a small rough spot. The lid groove in top of wood box is mostly gone, and box lid is missing. Box has no label. Uncleaned, some light rust here and there (mostly from storage). There's also a 1-1/2" sash cutter that is included (I forgot to photo). That makes 20 total cutters (18 + slitter + sash). Plenty more pics if you want them (could only upload 10). $225 Plus ship, USA only, Paypal. |
