I am looking fir 12 inch sliding nmiter saw and I keep seeing Tacklife. I never heard of them Are they any good? Comparable to what other brand. Thanks for any feedback.

Not the real expert, but have been hanging around these boards for two decades. Never heard of Tacklife. Had to google the name to see one on Amazon. Search function on the brand name here on Woodnet only brought up two other instances of "Tacklife" in the past two years.
Looks like a typical low-end knock-off. That doesn't mean it's necessarily a low-performing saw. There are diamonds in the rough out there.
Looks to me like they are comparable to the SCMS units at Harbor Freight.
