I do believe that I read a review of the China made Jorgensen clamps and it was positive. I think that if I was looking for clamps, I'd give the Jorgensens a try. If they don't work out within the return period, return them.

If I have glue left over and do not plan to use it in the immediate future, I pour the glue into a small tin like a tuna fish can. When cool I band saw the glue ,can too into cubes. The can will fall off and the cubes are placed in a plastic zip bag. Then put in the freezer for future use.
If the excess glue is not frozen and left in a warm shop it will stink.

mike

To freeze hide glue you can also use an ice cube tray.

I bought a couple of Jorgy 6” F-style clamps from Lowe’s. Well made, nice handle, equal to their former USA made F-style.

I did just let four pipe clamps go on Ebay because the condition and price didn't meet.

For $15 each at Amazon.com I guess I can't complain.

I can only assume that all of these are now made in China.

PONY/Jorgensen: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000224C9/ref=ox_sc_act_title_7?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1

And here are some that I assume were designed to look like the PONY/Jorgensen clamps.

Pony/Jorgie sold out to China a few years ago. I think bankruptcy was involved. Don't remember for sure
