Not the type of haul I’ve seen so many of, but a local woodworker in his 70s was liquidating his remaining stash and I stopped by. 14.5 bf of Gaboon Ebony for $40/bf, up to 53” long board. I normally see this stuff at more than twice the price, and told him he could get more for it. Told me to take what I want and he’s good with the price - I took all he had.

Nice haul. It would be nice to have for turned items but now I use walnut and india ink.
