Tracksaw ? - PedroOhare - 06-04-2020

What was the name of the company that made a track saw track that you could use your own saw on? The owner was on the forum and was kind of a pain. Dominick?

Eurekazone. They're out of business.

Was a good system. I had one before I got the Dewalt.

Kreg makes both an integrated track system and one that adapts to your existing saw.  It is fairly cheap so I don't know how precise it is, but Kreg has a good reputation for putting out reliable products.

The system starts at $80.00 and goes up to $160.00 depending upon the kit.

Thanks for the information. But are you sure the business is out of business? The website sure looks active and their 'special deals' are good through 6/30/2020?

I would place an order but it makes me kind of nervous.

You can always send them an email at their customer service address and find out.

Their fax number has been disconnected.  A pretty good sign that they are out of business.  I would look into the Kreg offering or pop for the Festool saw (I did.  Nice stuff.)

It's 2020...   Even my lawyer, accountant, and real estate agent have given up their fax machines!

Pedro,

You're right. The site sure looks active. But I've seen posts that they were closing the middle of last December.

The suggestion to send them an email should help answer it one way or another.

Funny--medical practices (doctors, hospitals, etc) still use fax and generally will not email due to privacy concerns. I guess sending paper to a machine to spit it onto an office floor is more secure than encrypted messaging!!

I too thought EurekaZone was out of business. The website was indeed live--and since i really need some anti-chip edges instead of trying to make them from garage door trim, i gave it a shot and ordered. Paid with PayPal as they are easier to work with in a dispute than any credit card i've tried. Order went through a few minutes ago--will try to remember to report back on the progress.

I don't usually play guinea pig--but thought i'd take one for the team!!

I probably should have clarified in my original post that I already have their tracksaw. I just needed the name in order to figure out how to set it up. Which I have done.
