Panel / Door Stackers - Sullivan - 06-26-2020

I just finished making some 8 foot tall bi-fold doors for a friend's pantry. Poplar rails and stiles with MDF panels.  Painted.  This was a bit of a rush job since she wanted them installed before an upcoming graduation party for her daughter.

My normal finishing routine on panels is to apply finish to one side, wait for it to dry, flip and apply to the other side, wait for it to dry, and then repeat for each additional coat.  Since I was short on time I went looking for ideas on how to do both sides at once.

I found these but shipping would take too long:

So I borrowed the idea and came up with this:

They are made from a 2x6 and worked quite well.  The notch is a finger hole so that they can be flipped easily.  On the saw horses I have one male "V" and one female "V" so the panels can be flipped.
