Before, and After - bandit571 - 10-04-2020 The "Before".. [attachment=30014] 3 ugly chisels, plus one that was rehabbed long ago. Handle were ugly, edges were too...so.. The "After" [attachment=30015] 3 handles were redone, blades cleaned up, lands reduced, edges sharpened and hone to 20 degrees and then the cloth wheel to polish it up.. There was also a four-in-hand that came with those 3 chisels...the before.. [attachment=30016] Rust and crud stuck in all the wrong spots...so.. The After. .[attachment=30017] And a pocket knife too... RE: Before, and After - bandit571 - 10-05-2020 Decided it was time to clean off the bench... [attachment=30040] Toolwell was over-flowing across the bench.. [attachment=30041] So....made a bit of progress today.. [attachment=30042] A stash of pencils was even found.. [attachment=30045] why into the Toy Box, of course... [attachment=30046] Door on the right.. [attachment=30047] Rack is about filled up.. [attachment=30048] So is the left side....even the "floor" [attachment=30049] That be a Stanley No. 8, Type 7 sitting behind that short level.. May work on the Beater Brigade tomorrow,,,might try to make them into a set..looks wise....be a couple more weeks before the next project starts Details of the Toy Box, if anyone wants? Stay tuned.. [attachment=30052] Uses plexiglass for the windows.. [attachment=30053] Made out of Pine. [attachment=30054] Drawers to hold block planes and small parts. [attachment=30055] [attachment=30056] Kind of a small shop... [attachment=30057] Anymore, I open a door, get out the tool I need, and close the door back up...
