kitchen counter top - bgosh - 11-05-2020
A friend just had a quartz counter top installed and the joint that had to be made in place was not made very good and asked if it could be made better and they told him that it could not be sanded to make it flush and so they heated it with an ultra violet light and they scraped it. I was wondering if anyone has heard of this as I cant believe that it cant be sanded.

It probably can be sanded but then they would not be able to match the surface sheen. It will probably look "sanded" when the rest of the counter looks polished.
