Stanley 2101A 10 inch brace for sale - RickW - 11-16-2020
Here is one of Stanley's best braces: the 2101A, in excellent condition.
It has a 10 inch swing, probably the most common size.
It is in excellent condition, with a few minor rust spots, and has almost all the nickel plating. The plastic handles are in good shape, with some minor scuffs and paint spots.
It is marked "MADE STANLEY U.S.A.", "No.2101A-10 IN.", and "BELL SYSTEM-B".
When I got it, it was thoroughly gunked up with the infamous "Green Goo" that the Bell System officials thought would permanently lubricate them. That lubrication dried out, and left the brace almost frozen up.I took the brace apart, cleaned out the old goo, cleaned and oiled everything well, and re-assembled it. It now works smoothly like it should.

This is a great brace, and would be a great addition to any shop.
