My goodness, it cut the BB ply like butter.  I was cutting cross grain with zero tear out on both sides.

Yeah, it was pricey, but I'm glad I bought it.

How long do you need it to last ?

Most high tooth count carbide blades will give a good cut on ply for at least a couple of sheets.  Guys spend more $$$ on blades so that cut quality lasts longer.
