Oil finish--or something else? - overland - 12-05-2020 I just picked up a used Maloof-style rocker that has a thin, low-luster finish. I'm thinking maybe it's an oil/wax finish of the kind Maloof used on the real article, but I've also seen lacquer finishes with the same look. How can I tell what I'm dealing with? I need to fix a few scuffs and scratches. If not , check with other chemicals RE: Oil finish--or something else? - overland - 12-05-2020 What's a good lacquer thinner?
