Some can be ok users, others stinkers requiring a lot of fettling to do good work. I got sucked into the rabbet hole of fettling one, and after that generally pass on them as there are plenty of Stanley, MF and Sargents out there that are, IMLTHO, more worthy of attention. Funny, the ones I see are always in very nice condition....
